In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don’t know my final destination or the duration of this journey.

Kenya was the 37th country I visited. This episode is from my first days there. Due to heavy rains I skipped over exploring national parks and stuck to the main roads all the way to Nairobi. I camped along the way and had a blast with the riders I met along the way.

Throughout my journey, I’m raising money for a young disabled child in Poland named Franek. Franek was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (weakness of the entire right side of the body) and he will require constant rehabilitation for the rest of his life. All the money raised will go directly to helping Franek and his family lead as normal a life as possible so please donate generously: https://gogetfunding.com/arewethereyet/

  1. Nice waited for it for sometime,I hope you will travel through Eldoret

  2. I just meet your channel today and i fall in love to your journey, when you come to Brazil i will be very happy. Meanwhile i will watch the other videos, stay safe!!!

  3. I liked the way you changed the subject quickly when he mentioned your camera. You were right-you were going straight into it-sleet, not nice. You left that a bit late Kinga! That's amazing-absolutely atrocious conditions and you manage a dance for us. Should have your passport in a zip lock bag. Go the Lone Rider tent. The lady seemed very pleasant. Good to catch up with old acquaintances. Great video Kinga. You must have met lot's of people on your travel's. You will be very enlightened about the world & it's people.

  4. talk to RUKKA they do sponsorship especially for a good bet like you. its the best gear ive ever owned in 50 years and RTW rides.

  5. why no goretex riding jacket and pants, saves changing.

  6. no lockdown in that place?

  7. That campsite by the river was expensive nearly £8.00 for the night

  8. Bike 🇻🇳🇻🇳🖐️🖐️

  9. Ah, the age old gamble; hold off changing into wet weather gear until the last same minute or change well ahead of time and most likely not end up getting rained on!

  10. I want to ride again after the lockdown:(

  17. Australian one or international? Anyone 😃

  18. so is that a thousand shillings for the night on that camp site sounds bloody expensive that what does it work out at in English money something like ten pounds but im pleased your still getting about

  19. I love how you went from 'Oh no Kinga, too late!' to dancing in the rain! 😂

  20. Hi Kinga if you put a plastic carrier bag over your boot your waterproof trousers will slide over your boot easily then do the other one and keep the bag in your waterproof jacket pocket.
It saves all the hopping about on one leg in the rain.
Lets hope the lockdown is over soon.
