A Photography Road Trip with my old great buddy David Stuthridge from Western Australia. Definitely one of the most photogenic sceneries, the West Side of the United States of America.
Our journey started in South California around San Diego/ Oceanside, went to Joshua Tree National Park with its unique vegetation. From here to the Gran Canyon, such an amazing place to capture some winter images.
Unique for this area, because most of the time it reflects the hot desert feeling.
The Horse Shoe Bent, Antilope Canyon and Lake Powell all around and near the city of Page. A MUST GO place for all adventure seekers and a heaven for all landscape photographers.
On the way to Sequoia National Park, the place with the all these amazing giant Red Wood Trees, we stopped for a few days in Death Valley. All these places are so amazing in the North American Winter Time. Blue skies, cooler temperature, but crystal clear air for stunning intense colourful images.
I always wanted to capture the giant Red Wood trees in the snow with blue sunny skies. We only had short window on our trip and bang, we got lucky. It was another great adventure and I was so happy that we were able to capture all this. California, Arizona, Utah and Nevada.
